Clyde Hill is a neighborhood located in the Eastside, just east of downtown Seattle. One of the areas nicest private golf clubs, Overlake Golf and Country Club sit just west of Clyde Hill. Clyde Hill neighbors Medina, Yarrow Point and Hunts Point. All four neighborhoods are very affluent communities where many of the most prosperious and prominent business, sports and entertainment figures in Washington have settled. Located along the edge of Bellevue, Lake Washingoton and the 520 Bridge these neighborhoods are virtually all residential with only four retail business between them.
This luxury neighborhood is expensive as most homes are situated on generously sized lots. Over the years most small homes have been replaced by large scale luxury residences. Vacant tracts are scarce, so notable growth in population or number of housing units is unlikely. Streets in these tranquil, private neighborhoods are neatly landscaped. With easy access to the 520 bridge and within minutes of 3 interstate highways, these communiities are well connnected to the rest of the Puget Sound, yet removed from the urban bustle.
